Is the SGD 21-B display waterproof?

The SGD 21-B front panel is rated to IP54 when correctly installed in a panel. This provides protection against limited dust ingress and water splashes, but the unit is not fully waterproof or suitable for submersion.

What is the maximum input voltage supported by the SGD 21-B?

By default, the SGD 21-B can measure voltages up to 1.25V. With the addition of external scaling resistors (not supplied), it can measure input voltages up to 30V. Guidance on resistor values and installation can be found in the product datasheet.

Can I add my company logo to the SGD 21-B?

Yes. The PanelPilot B software allows you to add a custom image as a splash screen, which appears for a few seconds when the display powers on. For best results, use a black-and-white image at 250 × 122 pixels. Supported file formats include PNG, BMP, JPG, GIF, EXIF, and TIFF.

What is the purpose of using scaling resistors with the SGD 21-B?

Scaling resistors allow the SGD 21-B to measure higher input voltages. By default, the device can measure up to 1.25 V, but adding scaling resistors (not supplied) increases the range up to 30 V. Refer to the datasheet for fitting instructions.
