PanelPilotACE Device Software Update Procedure

Here’s how to complete a manual upgrade. We’ve broken it down into a clear, step-by-step process so you can follow along confidently.

1. Download the Software

Click the Download button above to get the latest device software (v4.0.2.4064).

2. Unzip the File

Locate and unzip the .zip file you just downloaded.

3. Launch Design Studio

Open the PanelPilotACE Design Studio on your PC.

4. Connect Your Device

Use a USB cable to connect your PanelPilotACE display to the computer.

5. Open the Upgrade Menu

In Design Studio, click the menu icon (three lines) in the top right.
Select Upgrade Device Software.

6. Select the Correct Package

Browse to your unzipped folder and choose the correct package:
– SGD 43 = 4.3-inch PanelPilotACE
– SGD 70 = 7-inch PanelPilotACE
Click Upgrade.

7. Confirm the Update

Once the upgrade is complete, click the menu icon again and select Hardware Information.

Check that the Software Version matches what you downloaded.

Note: The firmware version may also update, but this isn’t always required.
