The SGD 43-A is a 4.3” capacitive touch screen display that’s part of the PanelPilotACE range. It works seamlessly with the free PanelPilotACE Design Studio software, which allows users to build custom user interfaces for the display using a drag-and-drop approach. Powered by an embedded Linux system and an ARM 9 processor, the device offers extensive connectivity including four 16-bit bipolar analogue inputs (±40V DC), eight digital I/O pins, alarm outputs, PWM channels and RS232 serial support. It runs from either USB or 5 to 30V DC power and fits securely into panel cut-outs using clips or a rear mounting bracket.
Other features include multi-channel data logging, real-time trend graphing and PID control for automated processes. PanelPilotACE Design Studio allows users to create and test full display projects without any coding, using emulators, templates and a logic-based editor. Accessories such as thermistor boards and RS485 modules can also expand the device’s capability.
